All the things left Undiscovered...

Sorry I haven't updated recently, but I've been hella busy. We're moving to a house, so yeah... it's been complicated. Anyway, I may not be on in the next few days because we're packing and moving, so just a heads up. Alright... onto the Ashlee shiz.


Ashlee, Kip Pardue (Sunshiiiiine), and Nick Cannon were all on TRL yesterday. Ash and Kip were on promoting Undiscovered. And Ashlee got herself a little action too. Oh yeah, by the way... the girl cannot rap.

By the way, Undiscovered comes out on August 26th (which is tomorrow). I picked up a copy of the promo DVD from Wal-Mart, and it looks like it's gonna be a good movie. Typical romantic comedy, but whatev.


Ashlee and co-stars Pell James and Shannyn Sossamon hung out at the premiere of Undiscovered. Wilmer kinda showed up too.

Ashlee was also supposed to be on Ellen on September 6, 2005, but her official website has taken that down too. We do know Ashlee will be presenting at the MTV VMAs on Sunday. Her father Joe also said she's going to be doing Oprah in October to promote her album I AM ME. SNL? They're in talks to have Ash host and perform, so we will see how that goes.

Simpson and Cabrera --- together at last!

Whatever. I didn't think that highly of him for quite some time, especially after seeing him perform live. But I think Ryan and Ashlee look really cute together in the new pics of them at E!'s Summer Splash Event that was held August 1st. Okay, so they are just "friends", but how freakin cute!

Oh yeah, more new album news from MTV.com:
"Ashlee Simpson is "so excited" about her new album, which she's calling In Another Life. "It's all so near, and I have a bunch of songs I really love," she said of the LP, due in October. One of those songs, first single "L.O.V.E.," she said is "just about me and my girlfriends going out, not needing a man in our lives." While she hasn't planned a video for that song just yet, she is about to shoot her album cover."

First of all, Mr. Zach Kennedy, Ashlee's bassist and former Saosin bassist, has decided to leave Ashlee's band. Sad news, but he wants to go work on his own career, so more power to him.

On July 29th, TRL had a little clip of Ashlee at the premiere of Dukes of Hazzard. She talked about her new album which is titled IN ANOTHER LIFE. The first single from this album will in fact be L.O.V.E. which is about not needing a man in your life, but instead hanging out with your girlfriends. The album is set to drop in October, but I'm sure the single will be out very shortly.


Ashlee and the family went to the premiere of The Dukes of Hazzard in support of Jessica (who plays Daisy Duke in the film). Wonder why Ashlee chose to wear that urrrrgly crocheted dress. Looks like Papa Joe was also confused. It might not be the dress that confused him... it might be the fact that Ryan Cabrera is on the next Punk'd... "Ryan Cabrera? When did he become famous?"

Oh yes, I am an Ashlee Simpson fan... but she sounded HORRIBLE on the Much Music Awards. Yes, I just now saw the video that is up at ashleesimpson.net. Check it out if you want to go deaf. I keed, I keed.

That's just how them celebrities roll. Ashlee was hanging out at Mood Nightclub in LA the other night.

And on July 21st she was partying at the Cabana Club. I guess Mood and the Cabana Club are her two spots.
So anyway, Ms. Simpson seems to be sporting a new tattoo...

It says 'LOVE'... wonder if that has to do with her new single? Probably not, but still.
And I just noticed, she's wearing the same vest on both nights. Eww to the vest. Just a little note. :)

Ashlee wins for dumbest moment of the year

Does Ashlee really have a thing for Lindsay's new man?... and no WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT WILMER THIS TIME.

Fans, paparazzi, and the police. Word.

Ashlee deals with paparazzi, Jessica calls the cops in this video. Check it out. I really feel bad for those Simpson sisters cause it's like EVERYONE is in their freakin' faces.

Stupid Simpson? I would say NOT. But it is US versus Canada in the World Stupidity Awards... and Ash is up for "Stupidist Woman" (against Paula Abdul, Paris Hilton, Brangelina, and the runaway bride) and "Dumbest Moment" (obviously the SNL screw up).

Oh and my Ashlee loving friends have told me that L.O.V.E. is supposed to be released as a single sometime next month. I haven't heard this, but I hope it is true.

Rockish but Girlish

Gosh, if MTV says it, then it must be true. MTV News is reporting basically the same thing that was reported earlier... Ashlee's new album is slated for an October release, and songs on the CD will include "Didn't Steal Your Boyfriend", "Who's Gonna Catch Me When I Fall", "Goodbye", and "L.O.V.E" (said to be a single). Papa Joe had let Z100 listen to the tracks, and it is reported the music sounds "rockish but girlish" as well as "fun, upbeat and a little dancey". Interesting, isn't that what her last album sounded like? Anyway, guess all this is true since Ash's label rep said the album should be out in October. Fun fun.

Oh, looks like Ash has forgiven Avril Lavigne for the comments Avril made about Ashlee's lip synching blunder on Saturday Night Live. Not like Avril really cares if Ashlee forgives her or not.

Pink is not pimp

Ashlee was snapped chillin' in West Hollywood. I like the outfit and all, but I could do without the pink hat. Maybe it's just me... but pink is only pimp if your name is Trent, not if you're an ugly hat.

Birthdays, and Awards Shows, and Dancing... oh my.

Ashlee hung out with Papa Joe and Quentin Tarantino at Jessica's 25th birthday party. Exactly why was Quentin at the party? That has been confusing me ever since I found out he was at the bash. Maybe he's looking for his next blonde haired leading lady... and Joe's showing him what's up.

In other Ashlee related news, Ashlee's preseneting @ The Teen Choice Awards. Yes, I've read that Papa Joe and Jessica will be presenting with her, so this should be entertaining. Check it out August 16th on FOX. Remember, Ash is up for a whole bunch of awards... best live performance is not one she's up for this year. Oh snap. (But you know it would be done).
